Wet season is a great time of year to visit Siem Reap with plenty of sunshine!

the sun always shines in Cambodia

People often think wet season in Cambodia is like neighbouring countries like Thailand, wet. Cambodia is a much dryer country with short heavy downpours rather than raining all day! Take last month for example (August 2016) we noticed we had about 4 days in total where it rained heavy all day, for most days we have a couple of hours of rain per day between August and October then the sun pops out. The image to the right was taken the other morning and this is what we see most days with it maybe clouding over mid-afternoon. The best thing about the wet season in Cambodia is everything comes alive! with green lush vegetation, butterfly's, rice fields etc.
